Soon there were so many orders
that Micheal and his crew could not keep up. The back order
list was growing by leaps and bounds as word of these great
instruments spread across the United States.
Eventually Micheal sold Tobias to a very well known company.
Perhaps you have heard of them. Gibson? Gibson helped to increase
production but the want was still greater than what they could
produce.
In 1992 Micheal Tobais decided to leave Gibson. Once he left,
he moved to the east coast and starting doing what he does
best. Making a new line of instruments that were far beyond
anything that he had ever created. His current line-up consists
of electric basses, acoustic basses and some six string acoustic
guitars. If you are lucky enough you might be able to get
your hands on one of his newest masterpieces. His current
production rate is about 10 instruments a month, so you had
better get in line! |
