Squier Bass

Squire has been making guitars for years. For many they are an entry point into the wonderful world of electric guitars and basses. My first electric guitar was a Squire and I still have it to this day and it is an old favorite. Guess what my first bass guitar was? If you guessed a Squire bass then you guessed correctly. I still have it and play it all the time.

So what makes these great sounding instruments a first choice for me and so many other musicians? For one it could be their availability. Squire guitars and basses are available just about anywhere that you go. The second thing that makes them a first choice for many would be the price. They are very inexpensive.

Most first time players that are just getting into playing bass or guitar usually do not have a lot of money and if it is a gift for your son or daughter then you might not want to drop five hundred or a thousand dollars into something that they might not be playing with in a few months. Squire knows this and has been making extremely affordable basses, guitars and amps since around 1982.

Don't for once think that because these basses are junk because of the crazy low prices. Squire is made and owned by Fender and they will not put their name on junky instruments. In fact some Squire instruments are wanted even more that their more expensive Fender counterparts.

So you can easily see why a Squire bass guitar is often the first choice for new and seasoned players alike. You get a great reliable instrument, that now only looks great but plays great too and at a price that will not break the bank
